Custom concrete pools, built in weeks, not seasons.
Buildia Corp is a family-owned pool builder serving the Florida Keys. We build custom concrete (shotcrete) pools and spas from design and permitting through final fill, and most pools are completed in 4–6 weeks once permits are issued, with no waitlist to start.

Why concrete
Concrete is the only pool type that can take any shape, depth or feature: sun shelves, swim-up benches, infinity and spillover edges, attached spas and built-in planters. It is also the most durable choice for South Florida's heat, salt air and hurricane season when it is engineered and finished correctly.
We build with a steel-reinforced shotcrete shell, then finish with your choice of interior: quartz or pebble finishes, full tile or glass bead, along with coping and decking that ties into the rest of the backyard.
What's included

Building in the Keys
Pools in Key Largo, Tavernier and Islamorada face conditions mainland builders often underestimate: a high water table, hard coral limestone just below the surface, salt exposure and flood-zone rules. We plan dewatering, rock excavation and corrosion-resistant equipment from day one, so the schedule holds.
What drives the price
Every pool is quoted after a site visit, because the same design can cost very different amounts on different lots. The biggest factors are size and depth; features such as spas, sun shelves, infinity edges and water features; interior finish and tile; decking and coping; equipment and automation; and site conditions like coral rock, dewatering and access for equipment.
Where we work
We offer concrete pools throughout the Florida Keys, from Key Largo to Marathon.
Concrete Pools FAQ
How long does it take to build a concrete pool?
Most Buildia pools are built in 4–6 weeks after permits are issued. Timing depends on size, features, inspections and weather, and we give you a written schedule before we start.
Do you have a waitlist?
No. We schedule new pool projects as soon as design and permitting are complete instead of putting clients on a months-long waitlist.
Is shotcrete or gunite better?
Both are sprayed concrete and both make excellent pools. Shotcrete is mixed wet before it is sprayed, which gives a consistent mix; gunite is mixed with water at the nozzle. We'll recommend the right method for your site.
Can you add a spa or sun shelf?
Yes. Attached spas, sun shelves (tanning ledges), bubblers, deck jets, fire bowls, spillways and swim-up benches are all common additions.
How much does a concrete pool cost in the Florida Keys?
It depends on size, features, finishes, decking and site conditions, so we give a detailed written proposal after a site visit. In the Keys, coral rock excavation and dewatering are a real part of the cost, and we price them up front.
Should I choose a salt or chlorine pool?
A salt pool is still a chlorine pool: a salt cell makes chlorine from dissolved salt, which most owners find softer on skin and easier to maintain. Salt can be harder on some natural stone and metals, so we pick coping, decking and equipment that suit the system.
What should I do with my pool before a hurricane?
Don't drain it. An empty pool can be damaged, especially where the water table is high, as it is in the Keys. Turn off power to the equipment, remove loose furniture and items, and add extra chlorine. After the storm, clear debris before restarting the pump.
Let's build something worth jumping into.
Tell us about your project. We'll schedule a site visit, walk the property with you and send a clear, detailed proposal.
