Other Outdoor Projects
Fences, privacy walls, gates, pool barriers, fire pits, lighting and more.ExploreOther outdoor projects
Not every project fits a category. These are the other outdoor jobs we take on, on their own or as part of a larger backyard:
- CBS block and stucco privacy walls
- Aluminum, wood and composite fencing
- Driveway and pedestrian gates
- Pool safety barriers and self-latching gates
- Retaining walls and raised planters
- Fire pits, outdoor lighting and outdoor showers
Florida requires a compliant barrier around residential pools. When we build a pool, we plan the barrier as part of the design so it looks intentional, not like an afterthought. Have something else in mind? Tell us about it or call (786) 300-1132.

Outdoor Projects FAQ
What outdoor projects does Buildia Corp build?
We build outdoor kitchens, pergolas and gazebos, pavilions and cabanas, fences and privacy walls, gates and pool barriers, retaining walls and planters, fire pits, lighting and outdoor showers, and we remodel existing outdoor spaces, in the Florida Keys.
Can you remodel an existing patio or outdoor area?
Yes. We can rework an existing patio, pool deck or backyard: add an outdoor kitchen or a pergola, replace old decking, build new privacy walls, or redesign the whole space around the pool.
Do I need a fence around my pool in Florida?
Florida's Residential Swimming Pool Safety Act requires at least one approved safety feature, and a compliant barrier is the most common. Local codes can add requirements, and we design to them.
How tall does a pool barrier have to be in Florida?
Florida's residential pool barrier rules require a barrier at least 4 feet high, with self-closing, self-latching gates and limits on gaps and climbable features. Local codes can add more, and we design to whichever applies.
Do I need a permit for a fence or wall?
Usually, yes. Most fences, walls and gates in the Florida Keys need a permit, and pool barriers are inspected as part of the pool permit. We handle the drawings and inspections.
